Producing Website Content

What is Website Copy?

Throughout the build process of your website, you’ll need to provide your web designer with information and content.

Website copy are the words and phrases you use to create a great user experience on your website.  We’re talking about titles, subheadings, body text, and calls-to-action – anything that’s not part of your blog or content marketing initiatives.  Make sure each page conveys an engaging message that resonates with visitors for maximum impact.

I know how daunting website content creation can be, especially if your new website is a big one and you don’t have anything to refer to or an old website to work from.  However, I can help!

At an additional cost I can assist in producing the content you require, be it from scratch or to simply proof and refine.  I can help you generate engaging and converting website copy which reads well and is optimised for search engines by skilfully and seamlessly incorporating keywords and phrases into the content.  These techniques make it easier for your potential customers to find your website.

Website Images

When you choose images for your website, make sure they fit in with the rest of the page.  Images should add an extra layer of information and help bring your content to life.

Ensure that any images you use are directly related to what you’re discussing on the page. For example, if you’re writing a post about how to make a chocolate cake, adding a photo of a vanilla sponge wouldn’t be helpful or relevant.

The best way to identify suitable visuals is by thinking about what your audience would expect to see when visiting your page.  Choose images that will engage them and reinforce the message within each post.

Highlight the unique aspects of your company with original photos.  Showcase your products, employees and workspace to give viewers a genuine window into your organisation.  By investing in custom images of people, you can create an authentic connection with customers that stock photos simply cannot achieve.  Let potential customers get to know you and appreciate how much better it is to work with a business they understand and trust.

Don’t forget to include infographics alongside visuals.  Infographics are an excellent way to draw in users and keep them engaged while they explore your site.  Adding a combination of photos and infographics gives visitors a more immersive experience that’s sure to leave an impression.

If you cannot provide original photos or infographics I can also supply stock images for your website.  Get in touch with me to discuss how I can help you produce the content you need.
